Laurie is an executive coach and human resources leader with more than 20 years of experience enhancing the performance of individuals, teams and organizations.
Laurie’s background encompasses a wide range of programs and initiatives for individual development, team building, employee engagement, group and team coaching, and the development and facilitation of learning programs. Her practical approach to development has been honed through experiences working in both corporations and non-profit organizations. Laurie helps individuals and teams across a wide variety of functions and industries build the management and leadership skills required to positively impact performance.
Laurie’s coaching clients are professionals and executives from small, midsize, and Fortune 100 companies in a wide variety of industries including technology, finance, healthcare, entertainment, and consumer services and products. Typical client objectives include increasing leadership effectiveness, succeeding in a new position, growing a department or division, increasing clarity and confidence, improving communication, enhancing executive presence, managing a business or team more effectively, and career coaching. Team coaching objectives include team building, strategic planning, building trust, improving effectiveness, and reducing conflict.
Laurie holds numerous coaching certifications including Certified Coach from the Columbia University Coach Certification Program, CPC from the Center for Coaching Certification, and she is certified as an ACC by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Laurie is also certified to administer EQi-2 and EQ360 Emotional Intelligence assessments and the Neethling Brain Instrument (NBI) assessment. Laurie is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the Society for Human Resources (SHRM) and is a SHRM Certified Professional. Laurie holds a BA from the University of Michigan in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management and an MS in Adult Education from Buffalo State College.
